Privacy Policy

Our commitment

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

Your name, email address, phone number and state; account and login details; booking details (times requested and booked, the reason for the call and any notes you add); course enrolments and progress; purchase records; messages you send us; and, for coaching clients, call recordings, notes, resources and your Action Plan. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

How we collect it

Directly from you when you fill in a form, create an account, book or request a call, enrol in or buy a course, take part in a coaching call, or contact us.

Why we use it

To provide our courses and coaching, run your Student Area, manage bookings and accounts, reply to enquiries, send service messages about your bookings and purchases and, only with your consent, marketing you can opt out of at any time.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run our site and services: Wix (website hosting, member accounts, bookings, forms, file storage and checkout), Stripe (card payments, once online payment is switched on), Google Calendar (Reece’s schedule) and Vimeo (course video). They handle information under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your information.

Overseas disclosure

Our service providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, the European Union and other countries where they operate. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it consistently with the APPs.

Recordings and your private Student Area

Call recordings and other private files are stored as private files, never on public web pages. They are visible only to you (when logged in) and to our administrators, and are delivered through secure signed links that expire after a short time. Please don’t share these links.

Security

Access to member and admin areas is checked by our server on every request, and changes made by administrators are logged.

Access and correction

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us on (03) 9647 2402 or info@theclosingcollege.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first on (03) 9647 2402 or info@theclosingcollege.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Cookies and storage

The site uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in and to run bookings and checkout.
